Construction of Overhead Lines/Tower Erection
LCM’s Hi Line Department has the necessary infrastructure to develop engineering and construction of transmission lines at remote and desert locations. We are able to accommodate a range of requirements from our clients such as development of the engineering design, land surveying, and execution of the civil works, such as excavation, concrete works and subsequent tower erection.
Washing of overhead lines
Hi Line ("live line") Washing is executed over transmission lines of ANY voltage, transformer bushings, oil circuit breakers and substations.
The lines do not need to be shut down during the washing.
Thermal Imaging
Thermal Imaging is a very reliable technology and, therefore, one of the most important tools for our
Hi Line crews. An infrared camera measures and images the radiation emitted from an object. The fact that radiation is a function of the object surface temperature makes it possible to calculate and display this temperature.
For the Hi Line Washing, we use this technology first during the preventive maintenance and once again when all works are accomplished to ensure that the installation is in a good condition and complies with all standards.
