FLOWLINES

Flowlines are known as the tie-in between the oil well and the production facility. These are generally of smaller diameter (2” to 8”) and of limited length (up to 6 or 7 Km).

The tendency is towards buried flowlines using carbon steel pipe although other materials are known to be successful.

LCM will design and construct these flowlines for onshore installations using its flow line construction team. A typical flowline may be built in less than 30 days in normal conditions giving the client an early production from a typical well.

LCM has also designed other more commercially effective systems to reduce capital expenditure for the operator who is developing a remote field or a temporary field as well as the possibility of using the same flowline for multiple wells.
